Survey for Students & Parents

The TN State Education Dept. has developed a survey for parents and students to take regarding their feelings about schools. This is an anonymous survey. Students will take the survey at school on the laptops. IF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR CHILD TO PARTICIPATE, PLEASE SEND A NOTE TO YOUR CHILD’S TEACHER BY FEB. 5.

Below is the website for parents to take the survey

which must be completed by Feb. 28.

We’re having a HORNET SWARM and NEED YOU!!!

THIS IS A NEW, EXCITING FUNDRAISER, and ALL OUR STUDENTS GET TO PARTICIPATE! We are having the Hornet Swarm on Friday, March 23 during the school day. All students will have 30/45 minutes to walk a course. Students will be asking for pledges per lap or a donation from family and friends. It is our goal to raise $30,000. We CAN do this if each child obtains pledges for at least $50. With five family members pledging only $10 each, you can help us meet our goal. With the success of this fundraiser, we will be able to discontinue any other yearly fundraisers, including candy sales. We are very excited to do this fundraiser as it allows every child to participate. More information and pledge envelopes will be coming home in March. EVERY CHILD WILL RECEIVE A FREE T-SHIRT TO KEEP JUST FOR PARTICIPATING. If you have or know of a business that would be interested in sponsoring this event, please contact the school for more information. PLEASE HELP US FIND SPONSORS!

A HUGE THANK YOU to all that helped with our “100 Days Celebration”! Coach G is so appreciative and says he could not do this without you! The students had so much fun!!

Special thanks to the assistants and staff who also helped!

Day of the Arts Project March 22/23

If you could assist us, please contact Rhonda Winstead for more information here at the school.

Congratulations Kingston Crockett for representing Russellville in the Hamblen Co.Spelling Bee AND getting a trophy for Runner-Up!
